our founderRuben Gomez is a senior operations and transformation leader with over 25 years of experience driving results across manufacturing, engineering, digital transformation, and large-scale operational turnarounds. He brings a rare blend of hands-on factory leadership, strategy consulting, and execution discipline gained from working inside world-class organizations and advising clients across North America.
Ruben has led and supported greenfield facility startups in Mexico, complex Engineer-to-Order (ETO) job shops, and mature manufacturing environments undergoing modernization. His work spans plant launches, capacity expansion, process reengineering, automation, simulation, and performance management, with a consistent focus on speed, quality, and sustainable results.
Prior to founding JRG Consulting Group, Ruben held leadership, consulting and advisory roles at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Hewlett-Packard, United Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Safran Aerospace, US Bank, USAA, Verizon, Roboyo, and Ford Motor Company, where he partnered with executives and plant leadership to deliver measurable improvements in cost, throughput, service, and operational resilience. As a former Expert Advisor at BCG, he supported large-scale transformation initiatives at the intersection of operations, technology, and organizational change.
Ruben is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with deep experience applying DMAIC, Lean, Theory of Constraints, and systems thinking to real-world manufacturing challenges. His engagements routinely deliver multi-million-dollar improvements through productivity gains, waste elimination, better demand fulfillment, and improved capital utilization—without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Through JRG Consulting Group, Ruben works directly with small and mid-sized manufacturers to bring big-firm rigor without big-firm overhead. Clients value his ability to quickly diagnose problems, align leadership teams, and translate strategy into practical, executable roadmaps that actually stick on the shop floor.
